Suicide

  • “There were 6,708 suicides in the UK and RoI in 2013.” (Samaritans, 2015)
  • “The male suicide rate is the highest since 2001” (Samaritans, 2015)
  • Overall in 2013 in the UK there were 6,233 suicides. Of those, 4,858 were male. In England alone there were 3,684 male and 1,038 female.
